Bangladesh soil may have been used in 26/11 Mumbai attacks: FM Hassan

This is the first time an official from the Bangladeshi government hinted that terrorists, who launched the November 26 Mumbai attacks, may have used the Bangladeshi soil. Minister for foreign affairs Hassan Mahmud while talking to a local newspaper pointed to a Dhaka hand in the attack. He said that since terrorist attacks have been happening in the region in the past few months, even in Mumbai, there are cross-border linkages of these terrorists. Hassan Mahmud said that not only Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami but other terror organisations also have cross-border links. He blamed that the terrorists after getting training in Afghanistan go to Pakistan and from there they come to Bangladesh.
