At least five security forces personnel sustained injuries when a planted remote control bomb went off on Wednesday. Official sources said that a remote control device planted nearby a grid station in Jandola, went off with a big sound, inflicting injuries on five security forces personnel. The injured persons were shifted to hospital and were said to be out of danger. Immediately, the forces cordoned off the entire area and launched search operation. The incident sends alarming message to the returning IDPs of Mehsud tribe that the situation was not condusive in their native areas. The banned TTP carried out two suicide blasts during the month of Ramzan in Chagmalai and Kotkai, the native town of suicide bombers mastermind Qari Hussain Ahmad, of SWA. Sources said Mehsud inhabited areas remained calm for two years after the military operation but the latest incident indicates the presence of insurgents which the armed forces had claimed to have been flushed out during the military operation against the militants loyal to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) slain commander Baitullah Mehsud in SWA. The current head of the TTP Hakimullah Mehsud during his interview with a foreign channel had warned the IDPs of Mehsud not to return to their homes in SWA as Taliban were still fighting with armed forces.
