ISLAMABAD A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom while another sustained injuries when Indian troops fired across the Line of Control on Tuesday, says ISPR. It said the firing incident occurred in Keil sector near Rawlakot at 1330 hours PST. Pakistan launched protest with India on the incident and demanded an immediate flag meeting. According to the sources, this was the third such incident during the past few days when Indian army resorted to unprovoked firing. Earlier, the Indian army had resorted to cross firing violations twice in the Wagah sector in Lahore and Shakargarh sector in Sialkot without causing loss to life or property.
