President and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari has said that Mir Murtaza Bhutto Shaheed would be remembered for dedicating his life to fighting against dictatorship. This he said in a message on the death anniversary of Mir Murataz Bhutto who was gunned down on this day in 1996 in a conspiracy to overthrow the PPP government. Mir Murtaza Bhutto endured the rigors of exile, the assassination of his father when he was in exile and the uncertainty of life but never gave up his opposition nor compromised with the dictatorship, the President said. The President said that Mir Murataza's killers might think that they have got away with murder but he believed that they would be exposed and punished in the fullness of time. Nature has its own strange ways to ultimately expose and punish the conspirators and wrongdoers, he said. "May Allah bless the soul of Mir Murtaza with a high place in heaven and bless the souls of those killed with him. May Allah grant patience to their heirs to bear this heavy loss".
