MANSEHRA An SHO was killed and eight others got injured in two separate suicide attacks on police stations in Balakot and Mansehra on Saturday. According to details, SHO Khalil Khan was killed and six others including five police personnel and a passerby woman were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the main entrance of Balakot Police Station. Three of the injured are stated to be in critical condition. The suicide attack occurred at about 09:30 a.m. and the head of the alleged suicide bomber was found from the site of the blast. The suicide attacker, according to police sources, was about 20 to 21 years old. While in the second incident, three suicide bombers attempted to attack Mansehra City Police Station at about 09:45 am. But due to firing of the police personnel, two of the suicide bombers were shot dead while the third one managed to escape. Two policemen were also injured during the exchange of fire.
