ISLAMABAD (Agencies) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Tuesday summoned Prime Ministers son Adil Gilani on December 31 in National Insurance Company Limited scam case, reported a private TV channel. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, FIA Director Zafar Ahmed Qureshi said the Agency has recovered Rs1.5 billion from former State Minister Habibullah Warraich. A red warrant has been issued against Mohsin Warraich, he said, adding he would be brought back to the country with the help of Interpol. Eight Wapda and 17 FIA employees have been arrested over alleged financial irregularities, he said. Qureshi said that no leniency would be given to the people found guilty of corruption. Meanwhile, according to another TV channel, family members of Habibullah Warraich, have contacted the FIA and made an offer to deposit Rs100 million immediately besides assuring to pay the remaining amount through a cheque. According to the TV channel, the FIA had issued summons to wife and daughters of Habib and decided to include them in the investigation of the case. However, they contacted FIA and held out assurance to deposit Rs100 million forthwith and make payment of the remaining amount through cheque, therefore, they should not included in the investigation process.
