PESHAWAR As many as six suspected militants were killed while several others got injured in a US drone missile attack at Mirnshah Tehsil in North Waziristan Agency on Sunday. Sources while confirming the attack, said that four missiles were fired at a fortress-like compound situated at Khaddi village, killing at least six suspected militants. Besides, several others were also injured. They said that Khaddi is at a distance of about 15 kilometres east of Miranshah, where similar attacks are being carried out targeting militants compounds or moving vehicles. In the latest attack, the house, which has been attacked by US drone, is reportedly belonged to one Abdul Rehman. The sources said that not only the compound but also a vehicle standing near it was completely destroyed in the attack. It is worth mentioning here that almost 100 strikes were carried out by US drones this year in North Waziristan Agency alone. The government of Pakistan has time and again criticised the US drone strikes terming it a sheer violation of sovereignty of the country.
