At least 9 people killed, 6 injured in Balochistan incidents

At least nine persons were killed and six others injured in separate incidents in different areas of Balochistan including provincial capital Quetta on Monday. Police recovered a bullet riddled body of unknown person packed in a gunny bag from Sourab area in Quetta According to police a youngster identified as Khaleel Ahmed died after he fell from tree while cutting fuel wood in Satellite Town area, of the provincial capital. Unknown armed assailants opened fire at Shahdad in Jafferabad district killing him on the spot and fled away from the scene. One person Abdul Ghaffar was killed and three others injured in collision between three motorcycles in Hattayzai area of Pishin. The body and injured were shifted to hospital. In Sourab area a speeding car turned turtle after drive lost control of the vehicle. One person Alah Waraya was killed in the accident while three others sustained injuries. Meanwhile three patients whose identity has not been ascertained, suffering from various diseases died due to non provision of treatment as doctors of Civil Hospital Quetta are on strike. In Sohbat pur area a man gunned down his wife on the charges of Karokari. The citizens have expressed their grave concern over surge in crimes across Balochistan province and urged the provincial government and law enforcement authorities to take solid steps to keep check on growing incidents of violence.
