Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan vehemently condemning the terrorists attack on Pakistan Navy airbase, Karachi declared the incident as shameful and tragic and said that specific mindset is subverting Pakistan. She said that a specific mindset is working to subvert law and order in the country but the government of Pakistan has pledged to eliminate terrorism. She said that such terrorists attacks could not demoralize the Pakistani government. Dr Firdous further explained that the terrorists tried to target the economy of the country, as Karachi is a trade hub. She further said that by targeting the sensitive installation in Karachi the terrorists wanted to damage law and order situation in the metropolitan.
