PESHAWAR - The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Saturday directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to arrange lawyer for the chief of the banned Tanzim Nifaz Shariat-e-Mohammadi (TNSM) Maulana Sufi Muhammad. The court will resume trial of the TNSM chief from April 25 (tomorrow). Owing to security reasons, the trial of the TNSM chief is to take place inside Peshawars Central Prison. Ealier, ATC Swat Judge Asim Imam conducted the hearing; however, Sufi Mohammad did not appear before the court just because of the security concerns. The court inquired that did the government arranged lawyer for Maulana Sufi. The court was told that it has yet to hire a law for the purpose. The court directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to arrange a lawyer for Sufi trial. The court will resume trial of the TNSM chief from April 25.
