At least eight people were killed and several others were injured in separate road accidents on Monday, police said. In Charsadda, six people were killed and 32 others were wounded when a passenger bus slipped into gorge. After the incident police and rescue workers reached on the spot and shifted the injured and bodies to District Headquarter Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. In another similar mishap, two people were killed in a bus crash in Kashmirs capital of Muzaffarabad. While 15 others suffered injuries. Police said that the incident occurred when the driver of the bus lost his control on the vehicle because of speeding. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and transferred the dead and injured to nearby hospitals. The driver of the vehicle has managed to escape from the scene. Police registered cases of the incidents and started investigation. NNI
