ISLAMABAD - The Supreme Court of Pakistan, keeping in view the exceeding wave of terror threats in the country, has decided to take strict measures to improve the security of its building. According to a press release issued here on Friday, any person who is issued notice to appear before the court will not be allowed without showing NIC at the main gate. Special commandos have been deployed along with rangers and police, it said adding that Supreme Court staff have been directed to display their ID cards otherwise they will not be allowed to enter. The release further said, journalists have also been issued special passes for coverage of proceeding of the court. No access will be given to any one to Judges Block without prior permission, it added.
