ISLAMABAD-Finance ministry has released additional Rs 800 million for providing assistance to IDPs from North Waziristan.
Finance minister Ishaq Dar has said that more Rs 800 million has been released for extending financial assistance to IDPs affected by ongoing military operation Zarb-e- Azb.
The branches of three major banks will remain open on Saturday and Sunday. The branches of the banks including National Bank, UBL and HBL will remain open and will not observe the weekly holiday.
The directives have also been issued to Federal Board of Revenue for granting exemption against  0.3 percent withholding tax on the amount to be disbursed among the IDPs.
