Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is member of the coalition government but can join any alliance in its independent position. Talking to media on Saturday after meeting JUI leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Gilani vowed to boost up contacts to improve the alliance with positive thinking. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said he has informed the Prime Minister about the reservations of his party. "We are government partners but every party of the alliance has its separate role to play."
