QUETTA (INP) - Unknown miscreants fired 13 rockets at FC forts in Kalat, Turbat and Kahan districts in Balochistan on late Thursday night but no loss of life or injury was reported. The rockets smashed an electricity transformer in Kalat disrupting the power supply to the area. According to Levies sources, the rockets partially damaged the FC forts but no human loss or injury was reported. In Kalat a rocket hit an electricity transformer creating disruption in power supply to various areas. The FC personnel retaliated and forced the attackers to flee. Later the law enforcing agencies personnel cordoned off the three areas and launched search operation but no arrest could be made. Meanwhile, fear and panic gripped Kalat, Kahan and Turbat and citizens demanded of the provincial government and concerned authorities for taking solid steps to check the militancy, keep a check on law and order situation of the city and to assure security to public lives and properties.
