PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that no new contacts have been established with PPP and the way the judges being restored is not acceptable to his party, as they are not being restored as per the Murree Accord. Nawaz Sharif rejected all the reports concerning PML-N making fresh contacts with the PPP, saying talks with the PPP are no more on the agenda of his party. Talking to a private TV channel on Wednesday, Nawaz showed his utter disappointment over the restoration of deposed judges, saying favourite judges were being restored and this was against the very spirit of Murree Declaration. "This is totally unacceptable," said Nawaz. He informed the PML-N had submitted an application in the Senate for sitting on opposition benches in the Upper House. He said that his partly left the ruling coalition because the objectives were not being achieved. The coalition should have undone all the unconstitutional steps taken during the last eight years, he said, adding that the deposed judges should have been reinstated with integrity and honour. Nawaz said that he personally respected PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari and wanted to respond positively to the sentiments he had expressed on television, but no compromise will be done as far as the issue of supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law was concerned. Online adds: Strongly condemning the reappointment of deposed judges of Sindh High Court, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has termed it violation of Murree and Islamabad declarations. Talking to a private TV channel, he said that administrating oath from these deposed judges is consider to be an attack on judiciary. He said the PPP was restoring its favourable deposed judges and by doing so, it was interfering into the affairs of the judiciary. He alleged that conspiracies are underway to create division in the judiciary. The PML-N leader recalled that the movement for the restoration of the judiciary was started after filing of a reference against deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and the movement would continue till his (Iftikhar) restoration.
