DERA GHAZI KHAN - Bunkers have been constructed and officials of Frontier Constabulary have been deployed at Dhodak plant to avert any sabotage, it was learnt here on Sunday. The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited sources told The Nation that solid measures were being taken to ensure the security of state-owned sensitive installation of Dhodak Oil and Gas Plant. After the construction of bunkers both at the plant as well as the staff colony, the FC officials have been deployed besides the security staff is also patrolling round the clock. Earlier, the boundary wall was constructed and some of its portion was fenced to avoid the entry of any irrelevant persons in the jurisdiction of plant and staff colony. The tribesmen said that the improper decisions of the plant administration rendered them unemployed while there was no justification of boundary wall away from the plant and colony location. They said that during 16 years of the installation, not a single incident of sabotage took place as the tribesmen are much responsible. When contacted an official of Dhodak Plant said that the decisions were taken by the Islamabad Head Office of OGDCL. and they had simply implemented upon those in view of security of the sensitive installation.
