No technical fault reported in passenger plane: Air Blue spokesman

Private Airline Air Blue spokesman said that there was no technical fault in the Passenger plane which crashed in Margalla hills but there is possibility that plane crashed due to inclemnent weather. Talking to private TV channel here on Wednesday the spokesman to Air Blue airline said that inclement foggy weather could be the cause of plane crash at Margalla hills but there was no technical fault reported in the plane as the plane was of latest model. He said that the plane departed at 7:50 am from Karachi and was to land at 9:30 am at Benazir Bhutto International Airport but unfortunately the passenger plane crashed in forest of Margalla hills near Damn-e-Koh at 9:22 am. He said that after getting information the rescue teams have been dispatched to the site. He said that passenger plane was carrying 152 people including 6 staff members and 6 children. The crew members of the pilot were pilot Pervez Iqbal and first officer Mujtadeen Chughtai, airhostess Umm-e-Habiba, Javeria and Farzana Naheed. Spokesman said that the contact with the passenger plane was lost when the plane enter in Islamabad air territory while ten dead bodies and five injured have been taken out. Meanwhile, Chairman Air Blue Shahid Khakaan Abbasi expressed grief over the plane crash and said that the matter is being probed. He said that reasons behind the plane crash are being probed. He said that further details about the crash would be provided to media.
