LAHORE (APP) - Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani called Editor The Nation and Executive Editor Nawa-i-Waqt Arif Nizami on Wednesday to inquire about the safety of the staff of TheNation and Nawa-i-Waqt after a bomb blast had occurred at Sharae Fatima Jinnah, just a stones throw from the offices of the Nawa-i-Waqt Group. The PM talked to Arif Nizami who informed him about the loss of life at the place of occurrence and the damage caused to the nearby buildings and passing vehicles. The PM expressed his grave concern over the incident and sympathised with the families whose members were killed or wounded. Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira also called Arif Nizami to inquire about the safety of the staff.
