Poll under Zardari will lead country to bloodshed: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has ruled out fair and transparent elections under President Asif Ali Zardari and warned there will be bloodshed in the country if elections are held under Zardari's leadership. "President Zardari has not done any job honestly in his life. He has done the job of destruction of PPP. Transparent and fair election can not be expected under Asif Ali Zardari. There will be bloodshed in the country if elections take place under Zardari leadership", he said this while addressing a press conference here in Sukkar on Monday. He went on to say PTI Tsunami had rocked Sindh and no one could stop it. More political stalwarts will join PTI, he declared "I am happy people of Sindh have woken up", he remarked. "If war occurs in Karachi on December, 25 in Karachi, even then I will hold public meeting therein", he announced. "I ask people of Sindh to shed their fear. I want rid the people of Sindh of the fear prevailing in the province, he maintained. MQM has only 18 seats out of 272 seats, If we should continue to fight with them the whole time or should we fight with big fish, he questioned. 'I pledge that no armed group will be allowed to move freely with brandishing arms if PTI is voted to power", he added. PTI was not party of Punjabis, Sindhis, Balochis or Pushtoons but it was symbol of the entire Pakistan. Whosoever joins us will be reformed, he said. All the political parties had forged alliance to serve their vested interests, he said adding they all have united to protect tyrannical system and had minted billion of rupees. Time has come now that all the oppressed people should get united, he urged. "When I was captain of cricket team then allegations of match fixing were levied two years before my assuming the captaincy of team and after my quitting captaincy such allegations were levelled. During my captaincy no charges of match fixing were brought against any player, he observed.
