ISLAMABAD Second Secretary to US Embassay Ralph Christopher Ahler hit and injured a motorcyclist in front of the Parliament House on Wednesday. Details said that the injured, Rahmatullah, who is a CDA employee, was on his way to office located in Parliament House, when a speedy Honda Prosmatec car (ICT HT-619) hit and injured him critically. However, the US diplomat, who was driving the vehicle, remained safe while his car got damaged slightly. The injured, who is the resident of Muslim Colony Bari Imam, was later shifted to PIMS. Well placed sources in police informed this scribe that SP City Haroon Joya and SHO Secretariat Hakam Khan, however, gave undue favour to the US diplomat by pressurising the victim family not to get the case registered. When contacted, Haroon Joya did not pick his cell phone while the SHO Secretariat couldnt be contacted even after repeated attempts.
