President Asif Ali Zardari and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon agreed here Wednesday on increasing bilateral cooperation in various fields including commerce, trade, economy, investment and energy, report said. The two leaders hold one-on-one meeting here at Qasr-e-Millet (Palace of the Nation) followed by another hour-long meeting that was also attended by the high-level delegations from the two sides. The two leaders in their meeting also discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation in energy and power sector, a private TV channel said. President Zardari had arrived here Tuesday night on a three-day official visit to Tajikistan in which besides other engagements he will also visit Friendship Complex and meet with various delegations. Later today, the President will also hold trilateral and quadrilateral meetings with the leaders of Tajikistan, Afghanistan and the Russian Federation.
