No tussle between institutions

ISLAMABAD Dispelling the impression of any tussle between the institutions, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Friday that all institutions were working in their constitutional limits. Talking to media persons after the send-off ceremony of Shell Eco Marathon here, he said following the passage of 18th Amendment, most of the powers were transferred to the provinces but he had no difficulty in exercising his powers. About the Value Added Tax (VAT), he said the financial teams would visit the four provinces and meet the stakeholders. He hoped that the issue of VAT would be resolved with consensus. The Prime Minister said keeping in view the financial and economic restraints, the Government would present a good budget. About non-implementation of energy conservation plan of the Government, he said, this year the hot spell was unprecedented as it had broken all the records and the demand of electricity had increased manifolds.
