Two women were killed and three others including a woman and two children sustained injuries when a stray mortar shell fired by paramilitary forces hit the house of local laborer in Bara area. Local sources said that a mortar fired by paramilitary forces fell on a house owned by local laborer Islam Gul of Malikdinkheil tribe in tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency, killing two women instantly and inflicted injuries on another woman and two children. The paramilitary forces are targeting militant hideouts and during the operation innocent civilians are also felling prey to the bullets. Local leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Haji Iqbal Afridi has appealed to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the IG of Frontier Constabulary to take notice of the incident. He said the PTI strongly condemns continuous killing of innocent people by stray mortar shells, adding that they would camp outside the Governor House in Peshawar and the President House in Islamabad in protest.
