‘Will you marry my new daddy?’ he asked, on a handwritten sign tied to a customised cat collar, along with a sparkly engagement ring. The picture was posted on reddit by a friend of the couple earlier this week and has racked up almost 500,000 views.
‘Fool proof strategy,’ commented one user. ‘That almost seems unfair. How could someone say no?’ said another. The poster said the proposal worked out ‘purrfectly’ with her friend accepting the offer.
