Virginia,US: A suit of armour for a guinea pig is up for grabs in one of the more unusual listings ever seen on eBay.
With four days of the auction still to go, bidding has reached more than £300 for the tiny helmet and suit of chain mail. The US seller, mightys0x, made it by hand for their own guinea pig, Lucky, but is now auctioning it off after the pet passed away.
The eBay listing asks: “Is your pet guinea pig tired of wandering around the house unarmoured and vulnerable?
“Do they get picked on by other guinea pigs? Has your guinea pig ever wanted to go with you to a Renaissance Faire but had nothing to wear? Fear not! A solution is here!”
It goes on to add: “This hand-made scale-mail and tiny steel helmet will keep you guinea pig protected and secure in all situations.”–ON
