LAHORE- Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif today approved free Wi-Fi facility across Punjab. While chairing a high-level meeting, he gave approval to various important measures for the promotion of information technology in Punjab.
According to our sources, free of charge Wi-Fi will be provided at important educational institutions, hospitals, railway stations, airports and metro bus routes. The Metro Wi-Fi Network program will first be initiated in Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister also approved a proposal to provide tablets to secondary school teachers teaching science subjects.
