ISLAMABAD: A National Water Summit will be held on the 20th of this month in Islamabad to share ideas about the National Water Policy.
This was stated by Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, while inaugurating an international workshop in Islamabad on safe communities against floods using Geographic Information System. Water experts‚ stakeholders and representatives from different provinces will be invited to the summit. They will help develop a policy and a National Water Plan of Action to prevent Pakistan from becoming a water-stressed country.
