Rising sale of unhygienic food, drinks spreading diseases

RAWALPINDI- The supply of fake and adulterated drinks and food is on the rise in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, spreading diseases among people. One can easily find such eateries in streets and public places and the concerned officials are sleeping.

Selling fake and substandard food is now a profit maximization strategy of many retailers at the cost of people's health as the poor get attracted towards these drinks due to their lower prices. The business of these unhygienic eateries is going on in different areas including Pirwadahi, Faizabad, Bahara Kahu, Khana Pul and several other localities. The residents of the twin cities have appealed the authorities concerned to take stern action against the people who are playing with public health.
