Asian U-21 Snooker C’ship postponed

LAHORE - Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association (PBSA) president Alamgir A Shaikh has said that the Asian U-21 Snooker Championship scheduled to be held from April 4-10 in Chandigarh, India has been postponed for a couple of months. “We have received a letter from the Asian Confederation of Billiard Sports (ACBS) confirming that the championship has been officially postponed for a couple of months, the reason being that Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran had still not received clearance for their visas for participation in the championships from the host association,” he added. “The new dates and venue of the event will now be decided by the ACBS board in its forthcoming annual general meeting at the occasion of 30th Asian Snooker Championship 2014 in Al Fujairah, UAE,” he concluded. –Staff Reporter
