Pakistan push England hard in 2-2 draw in WHL

LAHORE- The match between Pakistan and England ended in a draw after a tough competition in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) World Hockey League semi-finals. 
According to information made available here on Sunday, both the teams played aggressively in the first half. England’s Oliver Willer in 13th minute scored the first goal of the match which was leveled by Pakistan captain M Imran scoring from a penalty corner. Later, Adam Dixon made a goal to put England again into lead in the final moments of the first half.
Pakistan began the second half with more aggression which put England under pressure. Pakistan with successive counter attacks succeeded in getting a penalty corner which was converted into goal by Abdul Haseem Khan to level the score again. Pakistan were still on second spot while England stand on third at the points table in pool B. Pakistan will now face South Africa in their last group match today (Monday).
