ISLAMABAD - Sixth seed Ahmed Chaudhry made the biggest upset of the day as he defeate second seed Yasir Khan in straight sets in the quarterfinals of the First Zarkon International PTF Ranking Tennis Tournament Friday. Ahmed played powerful game from baseline and never allowed Yasir to settle down and won the match 6-2, 6-3 to book a semifinal clash with 8th seed Heera Ashiq who eliminated 4th seed Usman Rafiq in a thrilling three set match 2-6, 6-3, 7-5. Top seed Aqeel Khan won his quarterfinal against Usman Ejaz 6-1, 6-3. Aqeel will face third seed M Abid in the semifinal who defeated Imran Shaukat 7-6, 6-3. Hasnain Manzoor will face Syed Nofil Kaleem in the final of U-18 event. Hasnain beat Talha Bin Asif 6-3,6-2 while Nofil defeated Hamza Bin Asif 6-4, 7-6.–Staff Reporter
