ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Samir Iftikhar justified his selection in Pakistan Davis Cup squad to face Indonesia as he braved through 64 tough men's draw and stormed in to the main round of US F 21 $15,000 Wichata Open being held at Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex Kansas Wednesday. Samir on his way ousted Gordan and Stein both from USA with convincing margins and won both his matches in straight sets. Samir beat Gordan 6-2 and 6 3 while he was more convincing against Stein as he wasted very little time to warp up first set 6-2 and dropped just 1 game in the second set to take the set 6-1, thus powering his way into the main round. Samir will now meet top seed and seasoned ATP world number 226 ranked player Darian King of Barbados in the main round.
