DUBAI - International Cricket Council (ICC) has termed Pakistan Zimbabwe Cricket Series as inevitable chapter of history on Tuesday.
According to sources, even ICC could not stop itself from appreciating Zimbabwe’s tour to Pakistan, and said that it is remarkable to believe that Pakistan conducted series in such an organized way. ICC further said that this series is most important not only for Pakistan, but for whole cricket playing nations.
This series carries the worth of its own uniqueness as it opened the door of international cricket in Pakistan. According to ICC, the total runs scored in five matches 2,306, four centuries and thirteen half centuries are the part of history now, which would be remembered forever.
It is worth mentioning here that ICC did not send its umpires and officials for the series, and Pakistan deployed its own match officials and umpires in all five matches of the series. However, after the peaceful conduction of Zimbabwe tour and healthy competitions, ICC became treaty bound to confess goodness of the series played here in Lahore.
