PCB website bidding draws flak

LAHORE The bidding process of the Pakistan Cricket Board website is drawing concerns among the companies which showed desire to win the rights of running the site. Reports emanating from the board suggested that the PCB was opting for the lowest bidder but the some companies have showed concern that one of the company did not have enough material to complete the profile. But an official of the board said that it was not their concern. The company providing complete data on the cheapest rates and fulfilling the bid clauses would be given the right to run the website. If any company gets the data from any other company its none of our concern. What we want the website to be functioning properly and on the cheapest rates, he added. Reports said that three companies filed papers and two were left in the race. But one of the company official feels that its rival company is being considered when it does not even fulfil the terms of reference.
