LAHORE – Punjab Cycling Association (PCA) in collaboration with District Sports Committee Kasur and District Cycling Association Kasur organised Baba Kamal Shah 40KM Ordinary Cycle road Race from Kasur to Gand SinghWala Boarder.
About 30 cyclists from Lahore District and Kasur District having ordinary Cycles took part. The race was completed in one hour 22 minutes and 13 seconds. The following cyclists got first six positions:
Shamoon of Shaheen Club first, Nasir Khan of Lahore Club second, Tariq Anwar of Shaheen Club third, Abdul Rehman of Shaheen Club fourth, Vikram of Kasur fifth and Umair of Shaheen Club sixth.
District Sports Officer Kasur Akbar Murad was the chief guest who gave away cash prizes to the winners. Chief judge Qaisar Bhatti and M Shakeel, Morous Raza and Baba-e-Sunjey Dat were the judges of the race.
