ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Asian senior team championship gold medal winning player Danish Atlas Khan met with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq here at his office on Wednesday. Talking to The Nation, Danish said: “I am very obliged to Sardar Ayaz who spared time for me and listened to my genuine demands. He highly appreciated our family’s contributions towards bringing laurels for the country at national and international stage. “Sardar Ayaz promised he himself will not only talk with PIA MD, but also take up my job case with IPC Minister and Prime Minister. The PM has given clear directions to facilitate athletes, who bring laurels for the country. “I am jobless and squash is very expensive sports. It is my request to the PM and IPC minister to provide me with a job in PIA,” Danish concluded.–Staff Reporter
