LAHORE - Kashif Dars brilliant all-round performance guided Raaziq International to defeat Aitchison College Staff by 26 runs while Ufone beat Descon by five wickets in the Sayid Paper Mills League played here the other day. In the first match, Raaziq International beat Aitchison College Staff by 26 runs. Raaziq International scored 153 runs for all out with Kashif Dar scoring brilliant 64 runs, Asif Butt 23 and Salman Ahmed 17. Maqsood Ali took three for 17 while Muhammad Aneeb three for 26. In reply, Aitchison College Staff were all out for 127 runs. Muhammad Riaz made 32 runs, Ashiq Hussain 26 and Hamad Nawaz 16. Naseer Ahmed clinched four wickets for 22 and Kashif Dar three for 18. Kashif Dar was declared man of the match. Raja Shahid and Sagheer Ahmed supervised the match while Waris Ali was the scorer. In the second match, Ufone beat Descon by five Wickets. Dipel (Descon) scored 122 for all out in 30 overs match after batting first. Yasir Ikram (47) and Adeel Butt (14) were the main batsmen. Hafiz Rauf grabbed four wickets for 14 and Waqar three for 19. In reply, Ufone achieved the target for the loss of five wickets. Ahsan (26), Khurram Zarar (25 not out) and Waqas Aman Ullah (23) were the main batsmen. Jahanzaib Haroon took two wickets for 28. Hafiz Rauf was declared man of the match. Liaqat Ali and Ansar Mehmood supervised the match while Khalid Waheed was the scorer.
