PBC felicitates boxer Waseem

LAHORE - The Pakistan Boxing Council (PBC) led by Ifraz Khan and secretary Rasheed Baloch have congratulated international-famed boxer M Waseem for his achievements as a professional boxer. The whole team of the PBC also praised his trainer Atta M Kakar, who coached Waseem at the Youth Club Quetta for raising his game to such a level despite poor facilities that he not only won the world title but also successfully defended it. "Waseem is a professional boxer and the PBC is also working for the same purpose. Hopefully when the council becomes sufficient enough, he will be fighting under the PBC banner," said Rasheed and added that Waseem had been invited for a shadow boxing in PBC's next fight most probably to be held in Lahore.
