ISLAMABAD - Punjab College for Women (PCW) won the final of the Inter-district Colleges Women Hockey Championship in connection with Punjab Youth Festival 2014. Punjab College defeated Jhelum 1-0 in the final to earn the right to play in the divisional competition. Punjab College skipper Sundas Abbasi scored the only goal of the match in the first half, although Punjab girls remained on top of the final, but they failed to add further goals. Miss Sajid Zafar Dal was the chief gust on the occasion, while DSO Manzar Shah, DSO Waheed Abber, Punjab Colleges Director Sports Nighat Shaheen Raja, Rawalpindi Region Women Hockey Association president Anjum Malik, secretary Nabeela Ayaz along with other dignitaries and sports lovers were also present on the occasion.–Staff Reporter
