Younus notches up fourth-innings record

5 Number of fourth-innings hundreds for Younus Khan, the most in Test history. Sunil Gavaskar, Ricky Ponting, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Graeme Smith all have four. Younus' fourth-innings average, at the end of the fourth day of the Test, is 57.40, the third-best among all batsmen who've scored at least 1000 fourth-innings runs. The only batsmen with better averages are Geoffrey Boycott and Gavaskar.

217 The unbroken partnership between Shan Masood and Younus Khan, Pakistan's highest - and only their second 200-plus stand - in the fourth innings of a Test. Overall, it's so far the eighth-highest in the fourth innings in Test history.

In the ongoing Test, the highest total so far is Sri Lanka's 313 in their second innings.

5 Wickets for Imran Khan in the Sri Lankan second innings, his first five-for in Tests. Before this innings, he had figures of 9 for 356 in four-and-a-half Tests. Imran's five-for also ends an incredible sequence by Junaid Khan - the last five five-fors by a Pakistan fast bowler against Sri Lanka were all by Junaid.

12 Fifty-plus scores for Mathews in Tests since the beginning of 2014. Only two batsmen - Kumar Sangakkara (14) and Steven Smith (13) - have passed 50 more often in this period.
