KARACHI - Experienced pacer Umar Gul, who recently underwent a knee surgery in Australia, says he is likely to be fit to bowl again by mid July. "From what I have been told I should be fit to bowl again around mid July. I myself want to make a strong comeback to international cricket," Gul said. He also said he was badly missing playing for Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy in England. The 29-year old pacer from Peshawar made it clear that despite the injury, he had no intentions of quitting any format of the game. Gul, who had arthroscopy in May, said he was already feeling better and was in the second stage of his rehabilitation process. "It was necessary to have the surgery and I was told by doctors that If I wanted to continue playing and bowling the knee problem wouldn't go away without having proper surgery," he said.
