LAHORE - Pakistan occupied the first two positions of the International Cricket Council (ICC) One Day International (ODI) bowler rankings after all-rounder M Hafeez moved to the second position, owing to a strong performance against Bangladesh. Hafeez, 31, moved to second position in the latest rankings and sits 19 points behind Ajmal. The all-rounder took six wickets in the series against Bangladesh at an average of just 8.16 and an economy-rate of less than two runs per over. Ajmal did enough to stay top of the world rankings with series figures of 4-52. There were also gains for Umar Gul, who rose three places to 26th position, and Shoaib Malik, who gained 35 places to 82nd in the world. Hafeezs bowling, coupled with some good support with the bat down the order, has earned him a place on the ICC Player Rankings for one day international (ODI) all-rounders and he now occupies second position, having overtaken Australias Shane Watson. He is just 13 ratings points behind leader Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh.
