ISLAMABAD - Three-member Pakistan Davis Cup squad with non-playing captain M Khalid left for Thailand on Friday night. Aqeel Khan, M Yasir and M Abid were in the team while fourth member Usman Ejaz will join the team later as he has yet to receive Vietnam visa. Talking to The Nation, Aqeel said: “We have prepared very hard during the last few days and we are in very high spirits. But no one can deny the fact that Aisam's absence will be badly felt and our preparations suffered body blow, as he was our trump card. When Aisam is in the side, I enjoy too much freedom, but now the situation is completely different as I have to shoulder the lime burden. I will try to give more than satisfactory results. We will reach Vietnam quite earlier to adjust to the conditions. The tie will start from Feb 14-16.”–Staff Reporter
