Shahjahan in 2nd round of US squash event

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's future squash hope Shahjahan Khan kept country's flag high, as he won the first round match of $10,000 Life Time Minneapolis Open 2014, defeating England's Charlie Johnson 3-1 in 40minutes. Shahjahan, son of former world number 8 Zarak Jahan Khan, while talking with The Nation from US Friday said he had always dreamed of representing Pakistan just like his father and uncles that's why he despite offers of US citizenship always preferred to play for Pakistan. “I had offered to represent Pakistan in world juniors and other international events as well. I am 19 years old, I had a world class coach in the shape of my father. I am training hard and want to win laurels for Pakistan and help country to climb back old glory days of Pakistan squash.” –Staff Reporter
