ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) secretary Masood Ahmed announced that the national team would participate in the Judo Grand Prix 2014 which is going to be held at Budapest, Hungry from June 21. It is an initial qualifying round for an Olympic period. He said Pakistani judokas had always performed exceptionally in the international meets and gave better performances. “The PJF has applied along with complete documents to its parent body for the issuance of timely NOC in order to apply and participate in the mega event. I also requested Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination to make sure early release of the NOC. We have prepared well for the event and I am confident that my players will give better performance and earn laurels for the country.–Staff Reporter
