ISLAMABAD - Col Asif Mehdi of RAYA Golf Club Lahore won the Chief of the Naval Staff Amateur Golf Cup 2016, seniors’ Amateur category on the second day of the event played here at Margalla Greens Golf course on Saturday.
Second day began with final round of senior amateur, 18 holes match for juniors and 2nd round of amateur category.
Col Asif won net category by scoring net (-5) whereas, Col Saud of Peshawar Golf Club won gross by scoring gross 161. In juniors category, Master Abdullah Umar from Margallah Greens Golf Club won net category by scoring net (-6) whereas, Master Nile Alam from PAF Islamabad won gross category by scoring gross 90.
In the second round of amateur category, Ghazanfar Mehmood from Garden City Golf Club is leading in gross category by scoring Gross 140 (-2). In net category, Maj Sheheryar Khan from Rawalpindi is leading by scoring net (-4).
