Athar Bukhari elected new SFP chief

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari was unanimously elected as new president of Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP) in its annual general council meeting held under the chair of PAF Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, who is also SFP patron-in-chief, here at the Air Headquarters on Thursday. The SFP patron highlighted the contributions of the outgoing office-bearers and also assured his all-out support to the SFP for its ongoing and future endeavours. SFP secretary Air Commodore Mussarat Ali highlighted the efforts being made by the SFP for inclusion of ski championship results for award of Quaid-e-Azam trophy and preparations regarding qualification and participation in Winter Olympic Games 2014.–Staff Reporter
