ISLAMABAD - Wapda and Navy will vie against each other in the POF Chairman Challenge Cup Volleyball Tournament 2014 final at POF Sports Gymnasium Wah Cantt today (Friday). Three matches were played on Thursday as in the first match of the day, Wapda brushed aside KPK 3-0. Wapda easily managed to take the first game 25-15, second 25-23 and the third game 25-20. In the second match, Army defeated POF 3-0. Army took the first game 29-27, second game 25-23 and third third game 25-20 and in the third and last match of the day, Navy thrashed Punjab 3-0 winning 25-7, 25-20 and 2-11. The final will start at 2:30 today (Friday) where POF chairman Lt Gen M Ahsan Mehmood SI (M) will grace the occasion as a chief guest and at the end, he distributed prizes among the teams and players.–Staff Reporter
