KARACHI  - Pakistan number one Aqeel Khan and Nomi Qamar stormed into the men’s singles final of the 9th Pizza Hut Open Super Series Ranking Tennis Championship after contrasting victories in the semi-finals at Karachi Club Hard Courts on Wednesday.
Top seed and favourites Aqeel proved too good for teenager Talha Zubair, hammering him in straight sets without dropping a single game.
Former Davis Cupper Nomi was involved in serious
arguments with referee over several line calls defeated Zuhair Raza  6-4, 6-1.
The men’s singles final will be played on Thursday (today). DG Rangers Maj Gen Rizwan Akhtar will be chief guest at the presentation ceremony.
